"New York? Pssh. You can see it all in a day. All you really need to visit is Times Square, anyway. No, we didn't ride the subway! Are you nuts?! It's full of crazies!!! I'm happy NOT smelling urine, thank you very much. We walked everywhere. Well, mostly we stayed in the hotel. You can see the Statue of Liberty perfectly fine by googling it, you know. Anyway, honey, those New York sunglasses you gave us didn't slip or bounce when we ran three blocks because we thought a scary person was following us. Plus we blended right in.
