WE SCREWED THIS ACTOR OVER PRETTY HARD. BUT NOT ON PURPOSE.
Here's what happened. Two days before this shoot we realized that "Power of Voo... Doo? You Do" was not a reference to voodoo but was a reference to the movie Labyrinth. So, we repurposed our Caribbean actor, with his exquisite Trini accent, to be Jareth with some stretch pants and this crappy wig from Amazon. The kicker? We didn't even tell him until he arrived on set. Luckily, he is the chillest man on the planet so he rolled with it. Sorry Akil, you deserve better.READ ORIGIN STORY
